Our engines have evolved over time, as have our developments. In the past it was necessary to verify and modify many other parts. Today, engine adjustment includes verification, diagnosis and replacement of spark plugs, spark plug wires, valve caps, fuel filters, air filters and defective oil filters.
Adjustments may also include verification of emission levels, fuel lines, wiring, hoses and flanges. Controls such as ignition contacts, ignition timing, carburetors and capacitors are no longer included, as current vehicles include electronic ignition, as well as computers that automatically adjust engine timing when necessary. These settings allow the engine to run as efficiently as possible and prevent premature failures. Regular tuning also extends the life of your vehicle.
