I have to swap the front brake hoses and front brake pads of my 1997 BMW 320I. Is it worth doing or do I have too many problems and do I have to pay someone for that?

That depends on your abilities and knowledge of the brake systems. I would not hesitate to do the work in my 1997 BMW 320I myself.
You must bleed the brake system each time you open a brake line to let the air out.
You can certainly make it cheaper yourself. Your work is free. When you buy parts for a DIY project, you pay about 1/2 to 1/3 of the price that a brake shop charges you at retail prices. The Brake Shop charges 2x - 3x the retail price you can purchase for parts at retail prices.
